Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Principal in providing strategic leadership and direction for the school.
- Lead on key areas of school improvement, including teaching and learning, behaviour, attendance, or curriculum development.
- Promote and maintain high standards of behaviour, achievement, and safeguarding.
- Line-manage middle and senior leaders, supporting professional development and performance.
- Act as a visible and positive role model for staff and students.
- Contribute to whole-school self-evaluation and improvement planning.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, and safety policies.
Ideal Vice Principal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a Secondary School.
- Strong track record of raising standards and improving outcomes for students.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire, challenge, and support staff at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, curriculum, and school accountability.
